What do the wisemen mean by looking inward?  What do they expect us to find?  I don’t know the answer, but my best guess is that it is a means to find the will to carve a different path from that of the general mis-guided momentum of the human outward.

Our wisest men have all told us to look inward.  They also told us to contemplate death, the universe, and eternity.  But, not one of our wisest men ever told us to look to god or the human outward for answers to the most important questions.
