Despite popular belief, man is not created equal, but we are far more equal than the human outward has defined as rich and poor.
Take a billionaire and place him in an isolated jungle — he will quickly realize his value was merely a grand exaggeration.
Our Love was forbidden from the start — married man with child falling in Love with a single mom at work. All those secret rendezvous – some people find that exciting, but it wasn’t…it was pressure…the whole weight of outward and inward social norms crushing down on a delicate budding flower.
I remember exactly when I began to fall for you. It was on that business trip we took together…alone…to Florida. We had known each other for several years, but this was the first time we were alone together. We worked alongside one another during the day and went out to dinner in the evening and then drove back to the same hotel…only to repeat the cycle for the entire week. It was on the flight home…you were half asleep…when I let my head rest on your shoulder. From that point on, the feelings grew…no one could stop it….not even you. The flower was in full bloom. I received all kinds of advice from those closest to me, but the words sounded like a foreign language compared to the passion of a deafening thunderbolt.
If the social pressures weren’t enough…add the black and white laws of corrupt capitalism. Corrupt capitalism drove us from the west to the east…took me away from my son…forced you to sell your house for a loss…what other choice did we have when they shut down the west coast headquarters in the name of “synergies”? My ex-wife hadn’t worked for years — I couldn’t just take severance and hope to find a job in one month. You may have had time to land something, but then we would be apart. And so we accepted the company’s ultimatum and moved across the country to begin our new life under one roof. Since I negotiated a healthy increase in salary and bonus, I had enough money to support two lives, the old and the new…and I was able to travel and see my son once a month.
And then, after two years, corrupt capitalism reared its ugly head once again. All those fucking assholes, the legalized and protected criminals, brought down the financial system…which led our company to “layoff” 10,000 human beings…with no option to stay on at a lower wage…escorting them out of the building like they were guilty of a crime… treating them like a bunch of fucking dogs. I couldn’t take it anymore. I took the severance package instead of hanging on at a lower salary like all of the other more politically connected, mindful, nipple sucking slaves… well, you know what… fuck those cowards…let them rot in hell for all I care. I know…they are only thinking of caring for their own families…I know the argument and logic..well…what about the other 10,000 little people who didn’t have a fucking choice?
Over-time, unable to secure a new job on the east or west coast, the expense of living the old and the new life depleted all my “worldly resources”, and the time came for a decision. All I had left in my possession was my energy and Love…and that energy was divided… between you and my son…I chose my son. The process of contemplating this decision tore something out of my mind…and the hole remains…all the way the through.
You’re an amazing woman, tough, strong, beautiful inside and out…a fighter. But I know, under all that armor, you have a gentle heart. You deserve more than half of my energy. But my son…he is just a little being…still developing…he needs all of my energy to grow strong and healthy. Just as you have given so much of your energy to your son, so I need to do the same. You, of all people, should understand this gut wrenching decision. I still Love you, but you deserve a man who can give you everything… and nothing less.
There are those that will smile at this outcome, but they of course are advocates of the status quo and perpetuate all that is….from the meaning of the marriage contract…to believing in capitalism even in its morphed and corrupted form. To them…I say…I would do it all over again…poverty is worth the price of pursuing Love…just like poverty is worth the price of pursuing what you know to be true…for you.
I find this video rather interesting. I am not sure I agree with all the content, but it is certainly food for thought. I also plan to read more about Mr. Stefan Molyneux (about him). I do have some strong vibes that the vast majority of humans are being used and exploited like batteries (The Matrix) powering the wealth generation of the few. I am not, however, convinced that the rich and powerful have developed a coordinated plan.
I do know, and I have attempted to express this, that money, debt, and credit, makes it very easy for a few to control the many. Money is, in my opinion, a fallacy. Each human being is a source of energy, a flame, that can burn given the proper foundation and environment. But if a human being can’t think for itself, perhaps all it becomes is a source of energy for another’s use and gain.
I also am interested in researching Edward Bernays (about him), mentioned in this short film as the father of propaganda. I think the media and the advertising/marketing machine is a powerful form of brainwashing that helps perpetuate over-consumptions, or as stated in the film, creating a demand for things when there is no need.
A profit is nothing more than trickery and deception, for a thing is only worth the energy used to create it, nothing more, nothing less.
All that man has created, or could’ve created, or could create, could’ve or could be done without Gold.
What other creatures will take our money in exchange for something we want?
A gold rock, a piece of paper, a coin, has no energy to expend or provide and therefore has no worth.
Even a fool can become rich if he picks the winning number.
Bankers are like priests – they pass an empty bowl around and the people fill it with their money.
Making money off money is nothing short of a magic trick.
Taking a loan or using credit breaks the harmonious law of nature that says no energy can be used without using energy to use it.
A river flows from its source to the ocean while money flows onto itself.
A billionaire doesn’t have enough energy to count his billions.
The only currency that has value is the mind, the hand, blood and sweat.
Men dig tons of earth to find an ounce of gold (Heraclitus — sixth century B.C.)
The idea of a nation died or became obsolete when the few embedded in the financial and big business sector lobbied for deregulation and globalization and successfully took over control of mankind’s self-created circulatory system — money and debt.
Just as huge multi-national corporations are used as a shell game to make those at the top millions and billions through stock options and bonuses, so now nations are used as shell games to make a few well-connected and networked individuals billions and trillions. The few that are well-connected have managed to obtain positions and control in key national organs — the government, the media, the Federal Reserve, the lobbyist machine, the banks, the investment banks, the legal framework, and the huge multi-national business conglomerates. Money, debt, labor, innovation, all flow fluidly across borders with the single simple-minded objective to increase profits that in turn primarily increase the wealth and power of the few. And they have at their disposal the military should that card need to be thrown down. The nation is dead and obsolete — an empty shell gutted and sold by a few legalized criminals.
But there is an important difference between the free-flowing laws of nature and that which mankind has defined as his laws of free-flowing capital and markets. The clouds, winds, and oceans derive their free-flowing nature from the powerful sun. The massive chunks of continents break free to create ocean expanses and collide to form towering mountains because of the Earth’s internal heat dynamo. The Earth, our solar system, our galaxy, all galaxies, fly effortlessly through infinite space at incredible speeds because of a uncomprehendable release of energy from the distant past.
In contrast, mankind has made the erroneous assumption that a piece of paper, an electronic bit, a coin, a piece of yellow metal, equates perfectly to energy created or expensed. Mankind further “compounds” his aforementioned erroneous assumption with the idea that energy created or expensed can be borrowed to use now and repay later using incremental energy as a payment for the opportunity to use more energy now. These erroneous assumptions are the reason a few have been able to siphon away power and wealth from the masses. But, if you look to the true power behind the free-flowing forces of nature, you will see and understand that the power and wealth in the hands of the few is really an illusion and a myth perpetuated by our own erroneous assumptions. These few don’t have power and wealth — all they have is paper, electronic bits, and gold-colored rocks.
