Dude, for a moment I thought your site had been hacked into by a raver . . . 🙂
On a serious note, while I still regard certain strains of classical music as the highest and purest forms of human aural expression, I also like you have a strange affinity for some strains of trance/techno music. I like Tiesto’s music, but for me he is a little too slick and poppish. With his penchant for cool baselines and fondness for tonal nuances he misses too many blatant opportunities for radical lifts, unlike this guy.
Here for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vT_zkD83sgw
And here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=729fTErA7pY
Or finally, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6krgy853p8
This last piece is one of the ultimate hopeful trance songs I have ever heard. “Touch me in the morning . . .” just evokes the eternal joy and hope of the Dawn of Life (that I unfortunately less and less experience in this miserable world). And Cassie Fox has a soulful, African voice that most trance vocalists can’t even touch . . .
Anyway, don’t get me wrong. I like Tiesto, but he just lacks what I might describe as that northern barbarian will to go further and higher into the Dionysian frenzy.
Cheers Brother,

The eternal beat goes on….
lol…indeed Mr. C
